The Wally Meeks “MPV” Award was created by Dingle in 2018 as a way to celebrate some of Steer-on-a-Stick’s most important volunteers. In Dingle’s drunken and dyslexic haze, he wrote MPV instead of MVP. Instead of admitting defeat, we now call the award the MPV Award. The inaugural winner was Ms. Kelly Cordova during the 2018 season. The award was renamed the Wally Meeks “MPV” Award in 2019 after he won.
